Ola Es Ravells D’Or apartments

Our Family Ola Hotels, this year has been increased with a new apartments complex in Cala d’Or, a busy tourist resort in the southeast coast of Mallorca. It is Es Ravells D’Or apartments, a budget accommodation, loved by families who year after year decide to spend there their summer holidays by the sea.

Thanks to its excellent central location in Cala D’Or, just getting out from the hotel, their guests find a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops, which will satisfy the highest expectations, in this tourist resort with a special charm, thanks to its architecture inspired in the traditional Ibiza buildings. Cala Gran is the nearest beach from the Ola Apartamentos Es Ravells d’Or, a mere 10 minutes walk trough nice gardens.

A huge swimming pool with an independent section for children, surrounded by gardens and wide terraces with sun-beds, is the centre of Es Ravells d’Or and the place where the entertainment team does most of their activities, for children as well as for adults.

The apartments have a basic equipment, but enough to cook, although the ones who prefer it can eat at the Bar Restaurant for a reasonable price.

Battle of the Moors and Christians at Pollença 2010

As the central act of the Pollença festivities, nest Monday the 2nd of August, will take place the re-enactment of the battle of the Moors and Christians, remembering the victory of the Christians over Dragut’s Moorish pirates, who in 1550 attacked the town of Pollença.

The festivities begin the night before, with a celebration in the streets and squares of the old quarter in Pollença. The 2nd of August, the action takes place along the whole day, starting at 5 am, with the central act representing the battle at 7 pm, ending at 12 pm with fire works.

Bernd & Yannick

Those days, we will have the chance to enjoy the shows of Bernd & Yannick, two young Dutch musicians who will be making entertaining the evenings at our hotels. They play a varied range of songs and instrumental music, appealing to a large audience.

Bernd plays in several bands as a singer and guitarist. His musical influences go from The Beatles to John Mayer. After finishing his high school, next year he plans to follow a musical career.

Yannick plays piano with a remarkable talent, classic music and other styles. Next year, he plans to begin his technical studies at the University.

Live music in Dalt Vila on Ibiza

The stage will be in the Baluart De Sant Pere, a unique spot in the renascence city walls, with its own charm.
